Stupid question inc but what's the best way to update the plugin and web interface?

I'm running last week's version of 1.5.4.4 and the newest version is 1.5.4.6

Thats not a plugin issue, thats an issue with your MySQL server.

As far as I can tell, it worked once, but didn't ban the account I tested with. Second time I tired, it got in the server fine.
