hey everyone.
how can i make fastdl to my private server?
i tried
sv_downloadurl "www.waeawe.com"
sv_allowdownload 1
sv_allowupload 1

and its not working

.
any help?

go to sourcemod.cfg
type sm_cvar sv_downloadurl blahblahbalshalhal

Try

sv_downloadurl "http://yourdomain.com/csgo/"

On your FTP, have the folders + files you want clients to be able to download, example:

/csgo/maps/mapname.bsp.bz2
/csgo/sound/soundname.wav.bz2

I tried exactly as you said but my client doesn't download the custom files...
Also I get these in the console after I start the server

Now Im getting the missing maps error. This is the line in the server.cfg

sv_downloadurl "http://websitename.com/csgo/"

Ive created the csgo folder in my web directory and put the map in the maps folder. But still does not work. I know its correct because I copied and pasted the url into my browser and it took me straight there into the folder.

The allowdownload and allowupload commands are already set to 1

Before that message appears, I get a lot of spew in my console about trying to download the games player models from the fast dl(??) and not finding them. Im not sure why its attempting that.

4bdul could you please post a working rotation server gamemodes_server config file with at least 1 custom map. Any help is greatly appreciated as this is getting very annoying - why cant Valve just use the old method...
