I have a menu that will show a motd, connecting to http://blabla.com/file.php

but if the web is down or cannot be found (like this --> http://kreedz.pri.ee/) i need a code that can check that... so if the web is not found, then in chat a message "website currently offline or is down".. but if the website is working, then do nothing, just continue to my menu func

I need this, don't tell that is impossible ;)

I don't know Spanish, which is why I help here.

You can be sure that the script exists if 2 conditions are met:
1. A socket can connect to its host.
2. You can send a HEAD request and get a response.
