Yes.

I also suggest you check the SourceMod plugin search as most "Any game" SourceMod plugins should already work for CS:GO. The ones that won't are the ones that mention GameData or include GameData files.

You may also run into plugins that require SourceMod extensions, such as SDKHooks.

Ok thanks,
what exactly do you mean with GameData & files? include files included in the plugin?

If a plugin tells you "put this file in your gamedata directory" it probably won't work with CS:GO yet, although there are exceptions.

"gamedata" is a directory for special files. These files tell SourceMod how to find virtual functions that normally aren't exposed to it.

However, the locations (or binary signatures) of these are different for every game, and most of those haven't been updated to support CS:GO.

Can't you just make a new folder structure which is the same as in older source based games?

I have not really coded in sourcepawn, but in pawn we have to set the directory to the extra models, sounds or sprites. Maybe sourcemod does this automatically, and that won't work?

The gamedata is the signature files for various functions. It is a requirement for SourceMod to be able to find the function in memory correctly.

Though, I could be wrong with this, I have only just started digging into SourceMod.

Sorry, but that's my opinion. CS 1.6 for ever ;)
