I thought THIS was the Steam TOS and what you posted (and others on this forum) is just the TOS for server owners who want to receive TF2 Quickplay traffic, not the official standpoint of Valve with regard to servers using the Steam platform.

For me at least, it seems that this is a policy promoted by a 'small' group from Valve, which only applies to certain server usages and Alliedmods adopted this as their official standing. And that's fine, but don't say that this is what Valve asks, so we must comply.

If this is the official standing of Alliedmods, why isn't it in the forum rules? Or did I misunderstood something?

P.S. Lets not forget that this was not a problem in the past and there still are some plugins/modules/scripts posted and/or approved on this forum that directly violate the 'Policy of Truth'.
(ping fakers, bot play time fakers, map name changers, invisible spectators, etc.)


@Kakarotto: you can show them as players everywhere except the Internet Server Browser (that receives servers from the Steam Master Servers) with Bot Played Time Faker and adding a few lines of code.
