I'm running a TFC Server with Metamod, AdminOP and AmxX. In the server.cfg I have got

sv_downloadurl "http://www.mylink.com/tfc"
sv_allowdownload 1
sv_allowupload 1

in the TFC folder has ALL my server files like sounds, maps, models etc what could be downloaded when needed. I deleted a map from my steam folder, and i joined back to my server and it would still do the slow download and wouldn't do it fast (i can tell whats fast and slow because slow is when it says Downloading...).

Any suggestions in fixing? Thanks.

EDIT: also, i add radioloops, and they don't download fast either, I dont know if it's because its adminop or what. Thanks again.

Just to let you know, filenames and directories in the fast download server are CASE SENSITIVE. They MUST match the name in your server. sound/Terrums_Server is different from sound/terrums_server.

Also:

Invalid file type...skipping download of sound/Terrums_Server/terrummod_prepar

You put // before the sound name (or another sound)

i just copied all the files from my hlserver/tfc/ to the http.

At home? If so how fast is your uplink?
Also, is your server at home? If both are home, sv_downloadurl won't do you any good, since everything is still loaded from your house (same uplink speed).

for some reason, it's downloading differant things.. like misc/headshot1.wav from the HTTP... But how do I make it download other files like maps etc.. its downloading other files whenever, but when i dont have the map, it has to download from the server not the fast dll.. i dont get it.

Well i can tell when it's downloading from web or from the server, Because when its downloading from server it says Downloading... and when its downloading from web it doesn't say downloading

Also yeah, I still need help please guys.

(Sorry for reviving, But i do still need help, I dont see whats wrong with reviving anyway)
