is there a know problem with map change and tournament mode? ... i want players to be able to rock the vote, choose a mode then a map and change to it to start playing (with map-cfg the map automatically loads a tournament cfg) ---but even if i set it to change immediatly after a winner is chosen it does not change... just changes de sm_nextmap cvar

maybe this is the wrong plug-in to do what i want, any ideas?

PS: the server is only used for TF2 PUGs so tournament mode is kind of important and admins cant be on the server 24/7 to change map manually

I don't play TF2, and UMC isn't really officially supported right now, but I believe you'd want to use version 3.4.7 for TF2: https://forums.alliedmods.net/showth...35#post2033935. If you are using 3.4.7 now, you can try 3.4.6, or you might have to use another mapchooser.

It doesnt work (3.4.5/3.4.6/3.4.7), it just changes sm_nextmap instead of sm_map, nad thats what i want.

Any idea of other mapchooser with similar functionality to UMC's rtv?

No sir, I do not. I never allowed RTV on my servers....too many map changing trolls out there. I usually just kept maps fairly short, 15-30 minutes.

Hi! I have been having some trouble getting UMC to work on my CSGO surf server. Do you mind helping me out? The plugin does not work at all. I try !nominate and i type rtv yet it does not do anything. I installed it just like you said, dragging the addons, mapcycle, and cfg folder into my csgo folder.

here is my mapcycle.

"umc_mapcycle"
{
"Surf Maps" //Name this whatever you like
{
"maps_invote" "5"

"surf_dynasty" { }
"surf_forbidden_ways_ksf" { }
"surf_fruits" { }
"surf_ing_njv" { }
"surf_kitsune" { }
"surf_legends_lite" { }
"surf_lessons" { }
"surf_mesa" { }
"surf_syria_again_" { }
"surf_utopia_v3" { }
"surf_waterworks" { }
"surf_elysium" { }
"surf_overgrowth2" { }
}
}

First off, for CS:GO, make sure you are using version 3.4.6, which is buried in this thread somewhere. It was written for CS:GO, but there have been issues reported. Next you can make sure you are using the latest stable versions of SM and MM:S. The syntax of your mapcycle file looks fine, but it really depends on how you have everything else configured.

Make sure you are using 3.4.6 with the latest versions of SM and MM:S, and if you have issues, post the error messages and your configuration files.

Hey bittersweet,
thanks! I got the verson 3.4.6 and it works except for the rtv. The RTV clashes with another plugin i use called KZTimer, i know how to fix it the problem is i need the umc-core.sp file and it was not included in the 3.4.6 and all i can find is 3.4.5 sp files. any ideas?

well i downloaded 3.4.7 which had the sp file, however the fix that was supposed to work (according to another post) did not. You wouldnt happen to know anything about setting up UMC with KZTimer would you?
