I just purchased a PCI card today. It's an ATI Radeon 9250 256mb 128bit DDR4. From what I hear, it can run all of today's games, like source, which is amazing for a PCI card .

A Radeon 9250 doesn't come with DDR4 memory and it won't top 15 FPS on Doom 3 at 640 x 480. I hope you didn't pay more than $30. You heard wrong.

Whether it does or not is my second priority. All I have is a PCI slot, and this is the best one I could find.

Try to find an ATi x1950 Pro, it's faster and cheaper.

i got a FX 5500 PCI and i could run almost everything execpt like the newest battlefield but it might not be the card, it might be the ram when the screen flashes white right?
