Sorry I had to post this but steampowered.com sucks balls, no one can answer my damn question.

I am running a ds off of my comp which is also connected to a router. I have the ports forwarded and everything. It works and all its just that my server does not show up in master list, even though i play with random people...When I give my external ip to my friends they can also connect to it, i dunno why it wont show up! There is really little traffic through my server too =(.

If you need more info for me I will be glad to tell u...

By adding your external IP you will never be able to see your server from your machine in the master list.

You can however see it in the LAN tab. It'll be your standard inside 192.168.X.X IP though.

If lan is a problem add in the server.cfg:

sv_lan 0

no, what I am saying is that when I ask my friends if they can see it in masters list they cant either. I also cant see it in the lan tab -_-
