Hello everyone! I'm a staff member of a VSH server, and I've recently been granted the permission to modify weapons stats. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if I need to use the TF2Items plugin or something else in order to modify weapon stats for VSH, and I don't know how to recognise the custom stats, like the "Rage removed per hit" stat on the Fan O'War.

If anyone can offer me some help, I would greatly appreciate it.

press F3 if you are using notepad or Search if you are using Notepad++

search for "355" (Fan O War item index)

if it doesn't look like a weapon stat, then keep searching till you find it

remove / add what you want

And how do I add stats for new weapons? For instance, I want to make the Boston Basher give +25 HP on equip, the Vita-Saw to make the Medic Ubered for 1 second on a hit, and the Chargin' Targe to reappear after 2 minutes.

Can't I use TF2Items to make these type of changes? (Except for Vita-Saw, since it would need a custom attribute)

For Boston Basher - yes, Chargin' Targe needs to be re-coded inside FF2

For anyone reading this, if you know how you can make Chargin' Targe reappear after 2 minutes, please put the lines of code in this thread!

Moving away from that, what I can understand from this is: "If it has "vanilla" attributes, use TF2Items." But how could I restrict those changes only for the RED team?

I suck at coding, sorry

As i saw inside FF2, all changes in attributes works only on non-boss clients.
Take notepad and look at .sp file "public Action:CheckItems" (deleting items) and "public Action:TF2Items_OnGiveNamedItem" (changing indexes)

Heresome links for you:
(use ctrl+F)
Indexes:
https://wiki.alliedmods.net/Team_For...nition_Indexes
Attributes:
http://optf2.com/440/attributes

Notice: Anything of this you can find in tf/scripts/items/items_game.txt

For coders: i saw something in randomizer plugin for jarate and madmilk, maybe this will help
