Addons > Sourcemod > Gamedata (replace file)

THX man! Finally, this wonderful plugin work again. I test little time ago, well, no problem, no crashing then NG sends supply drop. It remains only to check how the backpack reacts to the signal pistol.

How did you update the game data? All of Ryan.'s plugins require game data updates

Here's a fork with NMRiH 1.11.5 support.

Changelog:
  • Added sm_backpack_glow_blip to control whether glowing backpacks show up in the compass
  • Added sm_backpack_glow_distance to control the distance at which glowing backpacks can be seen
  • No longer using objective boundaries to manage glows, should free a few edicts
  • Fixed backpacks causing the game to ignore sv_flare_gun_supply_limit
  • Reduced gamedata dependency

Fork update, the original plugin had "backpacks as random loot" as one of the TODOs so I went ahead and implemented that

Changelog:
  • Rare chance for zombies to spawn with a backpack. Controlled via sm_backpack_zombie_chance ((0,1] where 1.0 is 100%, defaults to 0.01 which is twice as rare as crawlers)
    • Added zombies_can_wear override to backpack types
    • Added backpack_npcs section to backpack CFG that controls which zombie models can carry backpacks
  • New backpack glow mode sm_backpack_glow 2. If enabled it replaces glow outlines with a more subtle pulse.
  • Reduced gamedata dependency
