And to make this atleast acceptable, I suggest you tell the players why they are being kicked, and add an option to let server owners choose what to do: kick, warn other admins, reduce privileges, etc.

newbies have to play to learn the game so let them play... rather create a GOOD anticheat -.-
if you see a newbie on a server help him and answer his question or if he really annoys you go to the other spot. you can even switch the server etc etc but kicking cuz of low skill measured by the steamaccs age is stupid in my eyes. good reason for kicking are cheating, being immature, insulting, spamming, advertising but definitly not the age of a simple acc.

thats it is boring from time to time to play with newbies.
also many cheaters are using brand new accounts.

i did not checked that deeply, for my tests it worked.
in the community id calculation we have one static number
where we add the steam id to. i've created some accounts
and the community id was allaways rising. for that reason
the number of the steam id have to rise too.

maybe they are but those cheaters who are obvious are easy to vote... good cheaters who are also playing in leagues like the esl know that many guys think that players with high steamids are either noobs or cheaters. thats why they simply buy lowid steam accounts.

edit: btw creating this is not bad endeffects, no offense, i rather critizise those admins who install this on their servers.

Read the whole post: I didn't say the number were not increasing, I said we have no idea how much account are created monthly so we can do a valid calculation for time. I pretty sure in months like december, the number of gifts rises up, and so does the number of new accounts. The difference can get to thousands.

oh i had a discussion about esl and leagues with a friend of mine,
so i was coming up with the idea to have a theme server "seniors only"
where only people with experience are allowed to play.

checking the age of the steam id was the most simple solution.
