Valves made a knight's move - for everyone whose servers auto-updated, CS2 servers are now installed. I managed to obtain the old server using beta versions in steamcmd; it starts up, plugins load, everything is fine, but the game cannot connect to it. You can connect to the server via rcon from the old client, which means either I forgot something in the configuration, or the old client simply can't connect to the old server anymore.

you need to use csgo_demo_viewer 1.37.7.9 branch on client and on server
