Banned if u generate a csgo server token

Hi, I heard that if u generate a token for your cs go server u will get banned or something.
Is that true ?

You NEED to generate a token for your csgo server to run and be public. It will be banned if it does not follow certain guidelines by Valve, the biggest one being not to use 3rd party plugins that let players use skins(weapons, gloves etc). Those, although they are in many servers, are not actually allowed. They can get your token banned and you won't be able to run any further csgo servers with your Steam account.
