Is there really a way to hook the clients weapon sounds and possibly replace the sound? like example replacing the ak sound to be awp, etc.

...but, you maybe still hear "original" sound from your own in-game. :/

Another way is block temp entity "shotgun" bullet or something.

Problem is, client side sounds which server can't do much about it.
