If I remember correctly, someone had said that you don't want it to be labeled like that, but more of a <PLUGIN_VERSION> or something and it'd stop errors? I may be confusing this with something else...

Also, when I try to compile, it says I'm missing Updater...?

You have it confused with includes (which still can be done this way).
#include <sourcemod> is what you're talking about vs #include "sourcemod"
You can still do #include "includes/sourcemod" but no one does that.

About your second question, get the Updater include file from its thread and put it in your includes directory.
