Nice someone saved the files.

I hope someone can code a plugin to keep the server running these mutations to load from a normal VS lobby(or COOP). As it stands now regardless of what you have set the game will load a normal VS gamemode if loaded from a VS lobby. I would love it if I didn't have to manually switch it for people after Realism VS is gone.

hi there ,

is there anyway once you have put the modded files on the server, we can have a simple plugin ? as i cant remeber map names let alone all these mutation names......

like a plugin within the admin menu, where u first select map then mutation u want to play.....would make my life easier and possibly a few others too.........or say anyone type !mutation and it brings up a map select menu then once you have chosen map, you then select mutation and a vote is cast for every 1?

something like [l4d2] campaignmanager plugin?
except with a choice of mutation then select map?
and the script would automatically use command map [mapname] [mutation name]
yeah that would be cool...

maybe even http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=109439 as a start.
instead of gamemode changer would be mutation_changer or mutation_select...

But did the way the gamemode script is handled in that plugin. could the same be used for mutations?
plus I don't think that plugin ever worked for l4d2...

Easy to do with admin custom menu
Grab it!

"Left4Dead 2/Mutations" contains Valve's mutations
"Left4Dead 2/Mutations hack" contains this hacked mutations

Something that would allow you to turn on these gamemodes when playing would be cool, sure it take effort next map change or something.

Just install the mod and you can turn them on either by using 'sm_cvar mp_gamemode' or by using the menu that kwski43 posted above

on my server i was able to go through a whole campaign of "the four swordsman", but have since tried the other game modes, and when switching the campaign or restarting the campaign after the gamemode is switched, the server crashes.

any one been able to play the passing since putting this on?

i get map differs from server.....and goes back to title screen.....

also how do actualy change mutations using the admin menu...?

ive gone into admin.....l4d2 then change mutation and nothing happens....ive then restarted map and your back to where u started...no mutation.....

just tested the custom menu out... works great.
changed mutation from admin menu, then called in-game vote to restart campaign...
chainsaws... and fourswordsmen... didn't check others yet...

that could be a problem... setting the mutation via sm_cvar mp_gamemode is one thing...
setting the gamemodevia map [mapname] [gamemode] is another i suppose...

perhaps mutations only load correctly with the latter?
