Things can be quite tricky with such kind of "limited acceptance":

What exactly is a mid to decent size community in your organization's opinion?

• Does it mean 2 players (or more) on the sever 24/7?
• Does it mean minimum 50% full in normal hours (day time, e.g. ~13-23) of the timezone the game server runs in?
• Does it mean being on the top 10 on GameTracker?

...?

Is there any other kind of "requirements"?

• Does the community need a website?
• If they do: Does it need to be "well-built" or is a very simple page enough for you?
• Any requirements to how the community is being run, from a technical and/or administrative perspective?

...?

Sharing more specific information may eventually give you better results, for example in regards to the amount of application(s) that you may have to turn down.

What about a community that has previously been in the top in regards to GameTracker rank, where the activity is currently seeming to be lowering and/or starting to become non-existent?

A such community would most likely do what they can to rebuild things to regain more activity, but do they stand a chance if they have an active SourceBans like you previously noted, with a lot of bans during the past ~7 years, though not so many within the current and/or past year?


Those are general questions, and you should look away from the moderator status! -

I have just been thinking for a long time that it might make sense to elaborate more on what you find acceptable and what you might turn down.

We don't want to give those info out for reasons I can not say. We do vet every single application to make sure we are a good fit to them and they are a good fit to us. We do have a few applications where people would just post a link of their youtube channel where we have nothing to do with youtube.

Sorry for the delay, but there are about 17 pages of applications right now so we are trying our best. Depending on the location of your servers we might not accept you right away if we don't have much inventory. Please pm me your info and I can take a look at it.
