l4d_survivorrespawning_deathlimit (Default 5), Number of times a Survivor can respawn before they are permanently killed

set that to 1, however, a survivor dies after respawning once, they are dead dead dead ! and stay dead :p - so you either gotta defib them or else use a respawn script in sourcemod

Hi great idea, im trying to add this to my server since yesterday with no luck heres my server error log.

I have no other plugins other than fun commands and i redownloaded all the server files just now.
Im running metamod 1.8.2 windows and sourcemod 1.3.4 hg2998
All my other plugins work i was using 36 different ones before and the only one not working was this one.
Also i tried removing the l4drespawn.txt and running the server again, and i got the exact same errors why would gamedata folder not acessed.
Any help would be appreciated


Turns out that if the gamedata file has any of this (1) it cant read it, sorry for the post and thanks again for a great plugin p.s it would be great if someone did a death match mod.

the gamedata l4drespawn.txt is tied to this plugin - l4d_sm_respawn.smx

is that in your plugins folder ?

The newest version of the plugin has been released, quite an overhaul.

I set a check in there so that if you have the Incapped Suicide set, you will be notified that you can't respawn and it will let you stay incapped.

Not sure why you are getting this error, I've never seen anything like that happen in the all the time I've tested this plugin. All I can think is that it's not seeing the Gamedata file correctly. Make sure you have them all in the right folder.

I changed the way that it kills the Timer, that will hopefully resolve those errors. I have no idea what the rest of what you asked means though.

I've got l4d_survivorrespawning_enablebot set to 1 but since this new version my bots aren't respawning when they die, only human players are respawning.

I accidentally messed up the call to check for Bots, I had it backwards so that 1 would disable and 0 would enable. It has been fixed in the new version.
