Is posible to host csgo servers on amazon ec2 instances and having them working properly? I know csgo servers are really cpu demaning, and cloud-based solutions share cpu power across other instances, so i'm not sure if the server will perform. Anyone have experiencie with amazon and csgo? what kind of instance should be needed for a 10-slots 128tickrate server?

Have you guys had any luck in this area?. Has anyone got the answer?. I have seen many people in my country use amazon ec2 to host 128tick csgo servers. I haven't tested them yet and probably won't get too for while. Any light shed on this matter would be really helpful!

not on the free trial. You will need a better instance, otherwise you will quikily run out of CPU credits as it will lag as hell

Aren't they incredibly expensive? The only person I know who uses one pays 4x as much as me per server.

Lol if I could, why would I ask here? My graphics card died and my 9yr old PC can't handle csgo anymore. I am on CSS now.

Dude I have been on this hunt too. I have wasted far too much time by now. So I have resorted to asking in forums now.

What I did uncover is, FACEIT actually uses EC2! It's mentioned in their recruitment criteria. So they ain't using dedicated baremetal AWS servers.

Pls reply to my list on one of the other threads. I have pretty much tried to cover every backend factor for srcds hosting.
