Only for those who pre-ordered the game (for me, demos are meant to test the game before you buy it. Valve, as usual, doesn't follow any rules: You buy FIRST, then you play the demo. Who nows what's on Gabe's mind... (besides eating, of course)

Pre-purchasers got the demo first as incentive for pre-purchasing and to work out some bugs before the demo goes public (two patches so far). I'm sure they'll do even more before the game comes out. Doesn't take a genius to figure that out. I'm not complaining about it being on hold since I pre-purchased and I'll take every second of gameplay I can get before the wave of complete morons sweeps across the demo.

Well, I think they should have done like in TF2, pre-purchasers go the full game first, sorted out the bugs, then the final release came out. Just giving people who already bought the game just the demo doesn't make much sense to me. But the demo is out already, so pointless discussion. (Damn slow net, 89% )
