I really like the idea behind original l4d2 portals plugin, however that version isn't really suitable for versus and in my experience had some major glitches, so I decided to create my own.

currently what I have works perfectly 99% of the time.

I have 4 commands to use them.

sm_startportals - create both
sm_red, sm_blue - move them
sm_killportals - delete both

you can create them, you can move them, you can destroy them and recreate them over and over again however you want but eventually the whole thing breaks. 1 or both portals will go missing and then you cant even kill them and reset it, you can still move the remaining one but it no longer works as a portal.

it typically happens after a tank goes through them but its not 100% consistent.

I have no idea why it happens, the portals are stored in an entref however the portal entities themselves seem to get deleted for no apparent reason.

ive been trying to fix it for a long tme but nothing I do seems to work, please help.

I made some changes to what i think would be better on how i would do this type of thing and reason in code comments, i'v not tested it i may of just broken it idc i tried to remain faithful to your code and not remove too much.

Here is diff vs current code of posting and my changes.
