Thanks for the quick reply.

I can't seem to find the source code for the version (the post only has a zip file attached to it) and the zip file also contains a l4dmultislots.txt which has the signatures. I do have the files you mentioned in the gamedata folder too.

In the case of Krufftys version "multislots.txt" is the correct version. Try it, may need renaming to "l4dmultislots.txt"

Here is a version of multislots for L4D2 only and coop only. It does not spawn you in a saferoom and then teleport you. Testing on 4 servers has shown it works as the original author intended it to: It spawns you with your team. !join lets you join from idle. !afk and !spectate also work. !sm_addbot works too. Latest afk fix is included with gamedata file. Please enjoy. Credit for this goes to these 4 authors: (L4D) Zombie Havoc by Bigbuck, (L4D2) Bebop by frool, Bots Control In Coop Mode by Pan XiaoHai, and Survivor Bot Takeover by MasterMe. I just threw it together with no knowledge of coding beyond a beginner level and having customed out many many plugins for our 4 servers in our Steam Group. Added versions of l4dtoolz and left4downtown that we are using. Feed back or modification is definitely allowed.

This multislots version supports only the coop mode of +25 players.
No errors.

You can fix it yourself.
Look into 4dmultislots.sp and navigate to evtPlayerActivate function.
And add the following check "if(GetClientTeam(client) == TEAM_SPECTATORS)" before CreateTimer(Timer_AutoJoinTeam) code.
Plugin author did not consider that the function GetClientTeam can returns 0 (besides 1, 2 and 3) and it causes for some errors in this plugin. The plugin must be refactored.
Also you can just remove TakeOverBot from this plugin.
Note that you can compile l4dmultislots.sp using http://www.sourcemod.net/compiler.php
