its not a cvar, its an admin command. Use it. The plugin will save the setting to its config file. You CAN put it in your amxx.cfg, but that would be pointless.

If my server has around 490 maps, is this all I need to do?

#define MAX_MAPS_AMOUNT 128
Changed to:
#define MAX_MAPS_AMOUNT 500

or do I need to change any of these:

new pathtomaps[64]
new custompath[50]
new nmaps[MAX_MAPS_AMOUNT][32]
new listofmaps[MAX_MAPS_AMOUNT][32]
new banthesemaps[MAX_MAPS_AMOUNT][32]
new lastmaps[100+1][32]
new standard[50][32]
new nmapsfill[MAX_MAPS_AMOUNT][32]

how do you use a standardmaps.ini file, but not have [custom] appear next to all the custom maps?
Using dmap_status this line comes up:

You just delete everything in standardmaps.ini, then all the maps are treated the same.

thanks colelt1, i was hoping there would be a way of keeping standardmaps.ini so i could still use dmap_maxcustom so a standard map would still be included in the vote. probs simpler to do it that way!

Has anyone had a problem with this plugin NOT changing the map at the end of the alloted map time? I am having this problem on my server and it seems completely random when it happens...there is no one certian map it will freeze on. I love this plugin, but if an admin is not online to change the map it will just sit at the end of the map. Help me.

Have you disabled mapchooser.amxx in plugins.ini?
