Hey,

A few months ago, I tried coding my own player statistics plugin, but had to shut it down because I was using an external MySQL database for the statistics, and it lagged each time it logged the statistics. I was using the normal MySQL commands, rather than SQLite... what is the difference between the two? Will SQLite resolve the issue of the lag, or is that purely because of the delay between the server and the database?

Thanks,

SQLite tends to be stored locally. You could try using threaded queries to solve the lag issue.
