there is player/taunt_hand_clap.wav sound file but no sounds when players play it.

1.2:
  • Switched to a better method of third person that won't glitch out when switching.
  • You can no longer fire weapons while high-fiving
  • You can no longer high-five when Zoomed, Cloaked, Slowed, Ubercharged, Dazed(Stunned) or DemoCharging
I tried to do hats for this release, but couldn't get them to parent correctly and thus have given up on them, maybe someone smarter than me can find a way of making the real player model animate. (Although, be warned Robin said he thought it was impossible without a scene file, which can't be transmitted at run time, iirc).

Not sure if you are aware of this bug but when ever you die and you then respawn and highfive, during the highfive the camera focuses on your dead body so you dont get to see the high five. So after playing the game for a while and you highfive you most likely wont see the high five you will be looking at the ground where you last died.

Ah ok, I just downloaded the installed the plugin this morning so I didn't know you made a newer version. I simply used it and came here to report the problem. I'll get the updated one right now.

Geit, are you gonna look through all the vo/<class>_jeers##.wav and cheers##.wav for the voice effects(or positivevocalization/negativevocalization, etc.)?

1.3
  • Removed/Fixed up some redunant code.
  • Fixed weapons becoming invisible if you die while taunting. (And many other issues related to this).
  • The animating model will no longer remain if you die during the taunt.
  • Fixed demo shield not being hidden
  • Added a miss sound
  • Switched Miss/Hit sound to be a define at the top of the plugin.
  • Changed hit sound to a louder alternative.
  • Added CVar
    • sm_high_five_miss_sound - Play the miss sound if the player's high-five is unsucessful.
1.4 will be focusing on getting a positive/negative vocalisation to play from the player (base on a KV file) and will likely be out sometime during the week, after I've done my exams.
