ive posted about this before but never have i gotten a proper solution.

i first noticed this issue on my portals plugin, if a tank would use the portal and then when the tank is killed it would delete the portal as well. i eventually worked around it by recreating them if they were deleted.

today i was trying to update my minievents plugin and i discovered the same issue,

i made it so that when the tank hits the minievent it will lift it up so the tank can pass and then put it back down when the tank has made it through, however after the tank is killed the minievent gets deleted too. i noticed that using the !slay command to kill the tank wont delete it however when the tank player respawns and get killed it still deletes it.

to me it seems like if the tank or possibly other infected interacts with an object with ontakedamage or ontouch then it some how becomes linked to that object.
