Bots always picks up T2 and T3 repeatedly, so that they cannot walk out of the safearea.

You shouldn't be use these anymore, author has been inactive to support most of his plugin, use these workshop addon from now instead

Use Silver's info editor.

Copy/paste these changes in the config file. With the weapon tier changed to 2, the bots will pickup T3 weapons. However depending on the bot, if they prefer snipers or shotties (Ellis, Zoey, Francis or Coach), they will drop the T3 weapon in favor of their default preferred weapon. You can change other settings to your liking.

Works for me, but bots will treated it as a rifle, Coach and Ellis would still goes for they favourite weapon while Rochelle and Nick will remain keep the gun

That is because M60 is a rifle, the preferred primary weapon type for Rochelle and Nick. You can change "WeaponType" to shotgun or sniper rifle in the weapon's script file along with changing it's tier to 2 to tweak which bots should always keep it. And no, it's not a horrible idea as someone suggested there. It works without an issue.
