Hello,

Here's an idea someone got on my server regarding the use of the saxton's rage.

Since we're massively using the "No ragekill" policy here's what we were thinking about:

1. Saxton uses his Rage
He has now 2 ways of killing people: Using his fists or Stomping them (we're running stomp, yup)

2. Players under the Rage effect should stay alive if they take damage under Stomp Damage (we're using 1500).
While they still could get hit by Saxton, the hits should knockback them w/o any damage. (This, to avoid people getting raged blocking the Saxton in some silly corners)

3. Rage effect turns off, people can get killed by any hit/stomp from saxton.

Do you think it's possible?

Job could be paid, as usual

Its possible, but would involve modifying the stomp plugin (goomba?)..
A better way would probably be to just give hale mini/superjumps for all of his normal jumps for some duration when he rages, but prevent him from doing weapon damage. That wouldnt require modding the goomba plugin, and would allow you to do what you had in mind. Feel free to pm me if either is something you are interested in.

I normally work with ff2 because the modular design and natives are pretty clean, but i bet vsh is even simpler

Heya Friagram!

Actually i was thinking about leaving the Goomba apart of this "project" since it was just a dmg threshold (as en exemple).

I'll try to be more precise:

Saxton's damages are lower than 450 (not using the crit chance) and the stomp damage is 1500. The thing is i would like to see people under rage unkillable if dmg< X (where X would be 1500 here).
Plus, while under the rage, if saxton uses his fists/Axe/Wrench, hit people should be knocked back (stronger airblast or FaN effect?) but taking no damage (also not breaking the demo_shield if possible).

I guess we'll have to talk about this live to get to the exact point of what i'm looking for!

Feel free to add me on steam under "Eawys (keep in mind that i'm living @ UTC+2 )
