Anyone know of a map that forces players on each team to knife 1v1 at a time? Like, that being the whole point of the map?

I found one map that was almost perfect. I don't remember the exact name, I think it was something like "shogun". It was very good looking and forced players to knife one at a time. There was a ring where players would fight and on either side, there was a raised platform on which the teams could stand and watch the fight below. It was awesome. Only, it requires at least 3 players because one player has to act as a "moderator", letting people into the ring.

The perfect map would just automatically shunt people into the ring, no need for a "moderator".

So, anyone follow along? Better yet, anyone know of such a map?

Hmm... Thanks for bringing up the idea of a plugin. It leads me to some new ideas. I may take a normal map, wall off the two sides, and then just automatically teleport people into the "ring".

Just looked at ka_fightclub. Looks like a good candidate for it.

I tried to make a 1vs1 map but its not possible because everyone will spawn at different places. You can only do this with an plugin brad.

In theory that would work. However, what I had in mind was that the people not knifing would be able to watch the ones that are.

That would be an awesome idea for a map. The only map I've seen that supports "1 v 1" had a ledge high up in the air and you could only walk on that. The bad part is people tend to spawn on top of their enemy sometimes...

I think this is fairly easy to create:
Imagine a pit, players are unable to get out or get in. Unbreakable glass over the pit. You can choose to seperate the glass so the teams won't fight outside the pit, but as a plugin is already needed, I think it's just better to remove their hitzones and mix them.

I'm not a mapmaker, but I'll try to get into it.

I remember playing on some 1v1 knife maps ... the way it was set up was there were two raised platforms separated by a large ring.

Players on either side would have to jump onto a teleporter in order to teleport into the ring. The catch was, the teleporter would only work if there was no other player of that team in the ring.

I don't remember which, if any, plugins were in the server.
