When sourcemod is *fully developed*, and if SMALL is still implemented... would the functions be similar to amxx or completly different?

Nearly the same.

However you will not be able to use old (AMX / AMXx) plugins on SourceMod because the 'Native Functions' and forwards provided by SourceMod are not going to be compatible. Also don't expect the first version (or even the first few) to be as stable as the current AMX/AMXx releases and have as much functionality (the functionality will be added over time).

At the moment three interfaces will are being provided - C (aka 'modules') + AMX + JS

However due to the way SourceMod is constructed it would be very easy for someone to add a new scripting / byte code lang in the future.

You can write both "plugins" and "modules" in C/C++ ..

its gonna take me a loonnnnnnnnnnnnng time to figure out how to code for this Even though its depreciated though, i'd still like to see SMALL implemented with a AMXX liek structure, I'd just have to get used to the new natives and such...

Why does source mod use all these new languages? I thought small was perfectly fine, but now its "depreciated"? I don't know if I can get used to another language...
