I fixed it!!!!! Changed file name to demos and used sm_autorecord_path "./demos"

If anyone needs this i added a convar to change the name of the demo from auto to whatever you like.

i use retakes by splewis and when vote map gets the same map this plugin is still recording until change to another map it will stop

I'm not familiar with that plugin. Can you post a link? This plugin doesn't treat map extensions as map changes, but the other plugin can probably be modified to stop and start recording.
