Please help; I've not been able to get this plugin to work. Is there a default randomization that happens or do I have to actually go in and decide where the cans will be randomized? Here's what I've used (without doing any custom relocation):

sm plugins load l4d2scav_remix.smx

sm_cvar l4d2_scav_remix_version 0.2.3
sm_cvar l4d2_scramble_gas_cans 1
sm_cvar l4d2_scramble_notify 0

I've even tried:

sm_cvar l4d2_scav_remix_version “0.2.3”

And still nothing? What am I missing? The smx file is in the plugin folder. Thanks!

Have you also added the can locations config files from the OP (.zip file) to your cfg/maps folder of your server?
Once the plugin is loaded you can configure it in cfg/sourcemod/l4d2scav_remix.cfg

you dont need the sm_cvar part, and you certainly dont need to set the version - thats just information.

the plugin does not randomize the cans, you have to do it yourself. or you could take the locations that the author made in the zip file. be warned, you may not care for all of his locations and could get some raging.

how do i put the maps stuff?
i now it says on description but when i try finding cfg/map i see that there isn't any cfg/map... well i mean the cfg folder exists but map doesn't do i have to create a folder and put the txt files in there?

I have these problems

1) All the extra cans spawning on the first round
2) Every now and then the humans spawn in the floor on the first round
3)Some time the bat does not spawn on the mall level

Not sure if 2 and 3 are fully connected to the plug but I did see some one else say something about number 2.

2 seems to happen randomly with a variety of maps on even vanilla servers, call a vote to change the map and it should clear up.

3 is a bug in the game, bats never spawn for the first team on the first round but should be present after that until the next map.

I haven't seen 1 myself, but I've only played a few games with this plugin.

I just tried it .. I don't think there's a scavenge mode, hmm.. it looks like a co-op map with scavenge elements.. i could be wrong, i just tried it for 5 minutes with bots and died when we got to the first checkpoint.
