Great idea, you just got me thinking of a new gamemode.
How about an 8 survivor versus where u have to kill each other and reach check points? im guessing something like getting points for shooting each other and using them for power ups.
Very basic idea but if you not interested i can look into it myself thanks for the plugin btw.

Hmm.... Possibly add a cvar to make it admin/donor only? (Only people with a certain flag have the laser effect)

My ideas for your plugin:

1. Every tag havs a random color
2. Combine with paintball plugin so that the color of painting on the wall is the same as that of tag

Hm, just tried it... it looks like L4d2 is trying to become star wars. I turned the laser green, the width to 0.4, life to 0.1, otherwise you see nothing but beams all over the area too long for no reason. What does the offset do ? How far away from the muzzle the beam starts ? I set it to 1 and to 36, donīt see a difference, the angle is still the same. From my point of view I hardly see the beam at all when standing or walking straight forward. Only if I move sideways immediately after fireing a bullet I see the beam. What I would like to see is a beam thats visible from P.O.V, I mean I shoot and I see the beam coming out of the weapon.

Apparently this plugin is working for others but not me.

All of the colour and appearance options have no effect. Lasers are working but I'm unable to change anything from the default appearance settings. No errors reported in the console. In fact, the console is showing that I've changed the cvars, but there is no change in appearance on-screen for anyone.

The enable/disable commands all work fine. Any thoughts?

Using MM 1.8.1 and SM 1.3.2

@Asterisk - If you're not editing the CFG file it creates CFG/Sourcemod/Lasers then it won't work.

Hi, I've looked at your suggestions, will consider them in the next update. Got lots of work to catch up on before I can do this up

And currently you can't change cvars on the fly, I'm implementing that in the next update.

What you can do is change the cfg file then reload the plugin, or change map.

Is awesome plugin! So many lasers make it very fun to run around and you see when you get shot sometimes. Is possible to maybe have laser follow swing of melee? Like afterimage on melee swing? That would awesome.
