Hi

i am no modder but i have an idea. At the tf2 halloween event gifts drops random in a map and if you collect them you get an new hat.

is it possible to find the possition with an plugin? and eventualy teleport to the position? or show an arrow in which direction you can find the gift.
so its not so frustrating to search the gifts.

It is fully between the client and the game coordinator. The server doesn't know/care about them.

It seems like it is possible. You'd have to record every position on the map that it spawns, then get a script to spawn you at every single one right after another.

Good luck. Some people started doing that so they added many more spawn points in client updates today.

apparently there is no event. The server is completely unaware of it happening
