Hi, I was wondering how to completely disable the entire amx addon through rcon. I don't want amx enabled at all during scrims/etc, so I'd like to know the rcon command for that. Would you disable a dll?

my friend said that type this command in console would work:
rcon unload amxmodx_mm_i386.so

ok i found that
rcon meta unload amxmodx_mm_i386.so
works and it totally unloads amxmodx, but now i can't get it to enable again, what's the command for that?

ok well i did rcon meta refresh

which enabled amx again, but all the plugins are unloaded, so no amxmodmenu,
meta load <plugin> doesn't work, so i dunno how to reload a plugin =\

As a note, running MetaMod itself is illegal during scrims. You have to run it off of the game dll/so.

it's not illegal during scrims, seeing how scrims aren't monitored.

Just close down and start up your server, then everything should be enabled.

amx_off to turn it off

amx_on to turn it on

Don't unload/reload it as you will cause issues.

Oh, and running anything other than the original dll/so is illegal in any leagu scrim, not just cal

Just a note, amx_off will pause almost all amxmodx plugins. Just the plugins that are required for basic operation (such as nextmap, reserved slots) will continue to function.

Unloading amxmodx entirely through metamod will work, but you will need to restart the server to properly load it back up.
