How do I update my TF 2 Gameserver?

Hi everyone!

There was an update for TF 2 in the last few days, but my server is still running the old version so every client is unable to connect. I'm still a newbie in server administration so this might be a silly question, but how do I update my gameserver?

It is a rented gameserver which is using a linux operating system. I'm using HLSW and Filezilla (FTP) to control/modify it. Is there a console command or anything similar?

No, you should have some kind of game control panel if your renting it that has the option to update it. You cant update a game server with HLSW or FTP.

Do you use gameservers? I know they use linux a lot. If ya do device can tell ya.
