DynDNS Updater

Description:

This is a simple plugin which helps users to update their dyndns/no-ip hostname without any need of ddns client software.
It will update the hostname at each map start.

Cvars:

dyndns_mode: 0 | 1 | 2 => 0=Custom Service - 1=DynDNS Service - 2=NO-IP Service
dyndns_hostname: xxx.dyndns.org => Hostname to update (use domain selected on service provider)
dyndns_username: User account name on selected service provider
dyndns_password: Password for username

Options for dyndns_mode = 0

dyndns_provider: Textual name of service provider (informational purpose)
dyndns_host: Hostname of update gateway
dyndns_url: Partial URL for custom updated service (/nic/update?hostname=)

Nothing particularly. For example there're people who don't like installing extra applications on their computers.

This is just a tool which can help people to understand more about pawn and their modules.

I guess it would be more simple for people who can't set things up on their OS or only need it when their server is up and running. I have a webserver so I already have ddclient 24/7 for this purpose .

Hey joropito, Thanks for such a nice plugin.

But this plugin's usage lack of one main feature, i.e. it updates the IP/Hostname only when MAP changes

Please consider the IP Lease Time, since all dynamic IPs will expire after IP Lease time as configured by the ISP.

What if, When the perticular MAP is running & IP Lease time is over & ISP assign you a new IP??

So, can you please makes this to fetch new IP on regular time interval (controlled by an CVAR)??

i was testing your plugin, but it gives a lot of lag when someone join to the server u.u
