HI YOU GUYS!! :] I'm new to this forum and this is my first post.

I bought a CS 1.6 Server from a website and they set up the server with AMX MOD X. They gave me the ip to the server along with my FTP address, username and password. That's all fine and everything but I have no idea how to access into the AMX MOD X so I can have access to the admin files!

They gave me a link to start/stop/refresh the server . I emailed them asking about how I can get admin access with the AMX and he said he would do it for me but hasn't replied back yet.

So I typed amxmodmenu in the console when im in the server but it says You have no access to that command. Blah blah?

I dont have any amx folders or anything with the users.ini to add my own steam id because its not my own dedicated server... so what do I do?? I'm really lost and I don't know where to begin.

First of all... try smaller font.

Second... read the documentation. In this case, I'll give you a hint. The answer you seek is in the users.ini file.

Because it's located in the addons folder.

DIR: addons/amxmodx/configs/users.ini

edit
You again.

In server.cfg should be a line that sazs:

hostname "server name"

Change it or if it doesnßt exist, put it in.

Why are you installing AMXX? You just said in your fist post that the server is already setup with AMX Mod X...

I believe his problem is that he doesn't know how to use an FTP client.

Download SmartFTP and see if you can find your way from there,
