You need to let the server create its own csstats.dat file. You don't have stats_logging.amxx running or miscstats.amxx either.

For the precache of the miscstats sounds then you can use the plugin that I posted here, http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=50460.

Are you sure you installed the full counter strike addon? Type rcon amxx modules and paste the output.

Maybe this might help as well. I also tried to install Stats Display plugin. I compiled it, added to plugins.ini and it didn't work. Here is the debug:

I can use the /top15 and /statsme commands, but they show no info? the csstats.dat is missing (tried to touch and chmod it, no dice), All chmod's on every directory are as they should. Also the owner of the files/dirs are the same as hlds-server. Ive searched google, this forum and amxmod's forum for a while now.. nothing that helped.


So, is there some module/plugin im missing that should write to the file or what?

check your core.ini file.. /cstrike/addons/amxmodx/configs/ make sure you have this in the list
csstats_score addons/amxmodx/data/csstats.amxx
csstats addons/amxmodx/data/csstats.dat

They are present. Recently updated FreeBSD installation to 6.2 and al the packages as well and all of a sudden cstats started working. Dunno what was wrong, but somehow it works now... Thanks for your replies!
