My server is crashing for no apparent reason on tf2, sourcemod 1.2 and 1.7 mm , ever since that latest update.
I saw there was a thread about valve breaking the update, but my question is , Is anyone else experiencing crashes with the latest 1.2 sourcemod also?

Thanks to one of the previous updates, my server won't even connect to the Steam servers so no one can play on it.

Windows or Linux? I'm on Windows here and I'm fine. Using MM:S 1.8 though.

The usual problem with linux is old ass versions of glibc.

Dedicated server, srcds, it's what you should really use to be honest if you're not.

I would but I've been semi lazy in the past lol. But since I don't really have a choice I guess I will try it use it.

Edit: Ok the funny thing is the actual app I'm using is the scrds.exe it's just a tf2 only version.

Oh yeah it's the same in steam but if you use it externally you don't need to fire up steam or anything so you can keep things minimal. Up to you though!

lol,
where in the world is MMS 1.8, I can only find the 1.7
Link please.

After searching I found the link
http://www.metamodsource.net/mmsdrop/1.8/

Since i'm on a windows server I suppose the build for me would be the hg622.zip correct?

There is no reason to pry at internal snapshots of MM:S unless you know what you're doing. There's a stable MM:S 1.7 release on the Metamod:Source site.
