Hi. How can I forbid the game restart without "-norestart" parameter? There is an issue on Ubuntu. This parameter usually crashes second server with the same parameter. Anticrash rule: -There are no "-norestart" parameter in all started games = no crashes.

The question remains open: - How can I forbid the game restart without "-norestart" parameter?

Fixed. But server crashes anyway. Ubuntu 12.04 + dota 2 (1413) + last d2fixups, metamod & sourcemod. There is no any information about crashes in debug.log file. Some games were played, but some were crashed.

When will we be able to start Dota 2 Reborn dedicated server? It is broken, server start up fails with next message:

"Failed to load the Laucher dll".

srcds.exe is from Source 1. It's completely incompatible with Source 2. To launch a dedicated server on Source 2, use the game executable as the game client, but adding -dedicated. Until plugins are available for it, I don't think that you'll be able to have anyone join though.

Can't connect, because after startup server have status inactive.
Maybe have cvar for launch game/server and change status?

Good day. Is there at least some information on the creation of a dedicated server at a sourse 2 for Dota 2 Reborn?

Hi,

I want to run a dota 2 dedicated server in a linux server.

I followed all the steps but this is the error
PHP Code:
Failed to open bin/dedicated_srv.so (bin/dedicated.soundefined symbolCommandLine
I get when I run
~/steam-runtime/run.sh ./srcds_run -game dota +map dota

I get this output

PHP Code:
Auto detecting CPU
Using
default binary: ./srcds_linux
Server will auto
-restart if there is a crash.
Failed to open bin/dedicated_srv.so (bin/dedicated.soundefined symbolCommandLine)
Add "-debug" to the /home/jetspotsteam/servers/games/dota2/game/srcds_run command line to generate a debug.log to help with solving this problem
Tue May 24 01
:39:31 IST 2016Server restart in 10 seconds
^CTue May 24 01:39:34 IST 2016Server Quit
Am I missing any steps or is this guide outdated?

It is from pre-Reborn / Source 2.

Hello, after I tried several guides to start a dedicated dota 2 server on linux. No luck, basically got a bunch of dependency errors and I got so far as the srcds_run gives me the error about not recognizing dota as a valid game. (I have centos7 on a hp server.)

After I read this thread i believe that right now it is not possible to run a dedicated dota2 server?

I actually wanted to automatically extract results from a private game and it was not possible from valve's servers. Is it possible now by any chance?
