I'm trying to run the dedicated server (Linux) on older hardware, specifically Gallatin Xeon, which supports SSE and SSE2, but I'm getting SIGILL (Illegal instruction).

I assume the srcds_run binary posted in this thread was compiled for SSE3. Is there a version of the binary that will work on my server?

Ok, server is starting correctly with metamod and fixups (windows version).
But with sourcemod it crashes when first player connects to server. Also, ive found that it crashes instantly before anyone connects when there is any plugin loaded that uses sdktools.

Try to unload sourcemod. Connect to game. Then type in srcds console on server:
sv_cheats 1
dota_dev forcecreepspawn
dota_dev forcecreepspawn
dota_dev forcecreepspawn
dota_dev forcecreepspawn
dota_dev forcecreepspawn

And try to play this game. Watch on DPU load.

Then try to create a simple local game server by Steam, without Metamod Source and D2Fixups.
Type in console
sv_cheats 1

dota_dev forcecreepspawn
dota_dev forcecreepspawn
dota_dev forcecreepspawn
dota_dev forcecreepspawn

That's a miracle! There are no any lags in this game!

Conclusion: SRCDS + some of plugins(MM:S, or D2Fixups) give lags. Even if psychonic make an update for d2fixups, you still will observe random lags in all games.

Please i am having some serios issues with the new Dota release:

Hi, i have some serious trouble with the new release of the Dota 2 server, server version 1356. When i try to install metamod (have been trying with lots of version) including the latest 1.10.4, the server crash and exits,another problem is that my previously Dota 2 server was the 1200 version and i run the metamod 1.10.3 version on it with any issues, but when i try to use that version on the new server, it closes. Currently i have found that the metamod verision: 1.10.1 -dev woks, but there i have another problem, sourcemod 1.6.3 and 1.7.1 (the ones i have used before) crashes my server.Guys please any help will be appreciated very much cause i having some serious anger issues with this Dota 2 release

There is no any lags in a games. Problem was in KVM virtualization support of processor E5-2620.

i have problem, server last version, mm - 1.10.5 sm 1.7.2 dota fix last version
server have 1 sourcemod plugins for join in random team.

in 3-4 minutes jobs of the server (at the end of the first battle minutes) - server random crush.
And not always, sometimes working normally until the end, and sometimes it is the time falls.
