Interesting. I have tried last night to use as you said and work about 4 hours to understand why didn't work an know worked at the first try ? strange !!!

You also need to check if the killer is an actual player.

Killer can be an entity and thus > max_clients. You need to check if Killer is between 1 and max_clients.

You can do something that :

gMaxClients being a global with the value from get_maxplayers();
