Hey @ConnorMcLeod, is there any chance you could take a quick look at this plugin again circa AMX 1.9 and see if if there is any way to get this up and running again?

I doubt there will be another major AMX update and this plugin would be awesome to have long-term.

So here is what I am seeing trying to run this plugin:

It doesn't call the model files to be downloaded to the clients.

The mdl files are in place. The ini is filled out to point a STEAMID to a mdl file.

But when they join the server, they don't get the mdl files pushed, so there is no way they can display them, because they are not getting them.

I don't know if Connor still comes in, so I will ask you the same question. Maybe you know the answer?

The plugin is not pushing the mdl file to the clients.
They join the server, but are not getting the mdl files downloaded to their clients.

So............what can be done to make this plugin push the mdl files to the players?

Check all the paths, files and folders carefully to make sure there is no error somewhere and you don't notice it. You can also upload the files manually to the downloader. After all, some plugins are too old on this site, and it's not bad to move to a newer plugin if you want.

I just tested this with a local server and I was able to get the model files as expected and the models were properly replaced. I tested both default model override and Steam-specific models.

Precaching models via some other plugin is completely unnecessary.

Ok, so I did this for you. You can enable or disable the custom model using the "custom_model_enable" command in console. To enable it, you can use "1", "on", or "enable". To disable it, you can use "0", "off", or "disable".

At this point I have a new rewritten plugin that works with a menu and has a reset option, but I'll keep that option too just in case. Thank you once again

Feel free to post it as a new alternative to this one if you think it has its benefits .

One plugin they recommend in this thread is by Neugomon from goldsrc, and the other one is from our site amxx-bg and was remade by TheRedShoko.
They are very easy to find, so I didn't think there was a need to upload them.
If it is something new, rare and valuable, it can be, but these are found with the first typing in Google.
Greetings
