What benefits are you seeking from 1.8.2 that you cannot get in the latest amxmodx? Everything is backwards compatible. The "actionable knowledge" would be to upgrade your amxmodx. There's no reason for us to give support to an outdated amxmodx let alone a version not recommended. It's not bantering, it's what is recommended

Edit: If you really want to make it compatible, I'd suggest going through the changelog OR going through the github.
