Anyone who did a complete fresh installation on linux server since version 2.0.1.5 is out (no updating from previous version!) , and got this extension to work??! (tried it serveral times no one can connect!)

I cannot get it to work like i said before on fresh installed linux server... on the other linux server on which i updated from previous version to 2.0.1.5 this works fine...

EDIT: Ok people can join server now, but only when i do not set l4d_maxplayers.

I had the same problem the only way i could bypass it was setting l4d_maxplayers to -1 set sv_visiblemaxplayers to how many slots for players i wanted if i set l4d_maxplayers to anything but -1 it gives me the ValveRejectServerFull thing.

Are you using 1.3.2 or dev 1.4.0 along with which mmsource ? 698 ... ?

I rent linux from GS - and this worked last 2 nites, had 11 players on 12 slots in coop.

This worked after a fresh re-install - added sv_visiblemaxplayers -1 but who knows ?
Now i'm gonna try a local windows install.

i cant get the multiplayerslot coop server to work with ANY l4dtoolz and bebop, its just not working, l4dtoolz is screwing up bots adding, so i went for using superversus and bots maximum botscountkeep

I seem to be having some trouble with this extension. Any help would be appreciated. Here is what is in the error log.

23:59:48: [LEFT4DOWNTOWN] PlayerSlots -- Could not find 'HumanPlayerLimitReached' signature

EDIT: ugh, nevermind. I'm an idiot and didn't have SM1.4, I had 1.3

Why doesn't sv_visiblemaxplayers work at all?
And how it supposed to work? If I type sv_visiblemaxplayers 12, and l4d_maxplayers 10, how many slots clients will see before joining game?
Anyway, I tried variety variations and clients (I used laptop to check by myself) see as many slots as is set in "l4d_maxplayers"


I just need one slot to be hidden, when in the game are 8/8 players (which I look at before joining, from lobby?), I could join as a spec. (l4d_maxplayers 9). Because if the slot will not be hidden, players will be joining the game even after 8/9 thinking that they can be spectators / or just join the game.

Also, in my batch file (.bat) if I put "+maxplayers 8" server creates with 18 slots! Whereas if I put "+maxplayers 12" server creates with slots equal to this command (12).
Server.cfg - isn't a good idea, since it being executed on every map change (I need onetime).

Hosting this shit with l4d2 and it says 0/4 max players on my dedicated.
