As I'm not really going to go through 78 pages, I'll just add my questions below.

1. Is there a way to add single colours to a single letter?

2. I don't see a way to add a random colour to your name. e.g First time you type in chat, you'll see a green name then the next time you type in chat, you'll see a blue name.

Maybe this is easier to demonstrate:

Player 1: Hi guys
Player 2: Hey 1! How's it going?
Player 1: It's going good! How about you?
Player 2: I'm good thanks, want to try a knife fight?
Player 1: Sure!

You could also have this

Player 1: Hi guys
Player 2: Hey 1! How's it going?
Player 1: It's going good! How about you?
Player 2: I'm good thanks, want to try a knife fight?
Player 1: Sure!

If you don't mind, would you try to add that in? or I'm oblivious and there's already something like this (I only know of the timer plugins for Bhop/Trikz/Surf) but I don't see one for a non-bhop/trikz/surf server.

There is no way to colorize single letters or to use a gradient/rainbow, and I don't plan to add this. Each color code uses 7 letters of the limited space that is allocated for a chat message and having a large number of color codes would greatly reduce the maximum length of messages.

A different name color for each message is an interesting idea, but I think it's better suited for a separate plugin or a module.

I'm more interested in each player being assigned a unique random color upon joining (out of perhaps a set of 32 predefined colors). The color would remained assigned to that user until he disconnects.

Hell, maybe the colors could even be hard-coded to each individual player index. Might be simpler.
