Hey,

I was in a game tonight (L4D - No Mercy) and got a warning come up about someone using auto-fire / trigger... it came up twice but he didnt get banned or kicked.

Code:
L 12/09/2012 - 17:49:06: [smac_autotrigger.smx] *** (ID: STEAM_ | IP: is suspected of using auto-trigger cheat: Auto-Fire
L 12/09/2012 - 17:49:15: [smac_autotrigger.smx] *** (ID: STEAM_ | IP: is suspected of using auto-trigger cheat: Auto-Fire
Almost one after the other but still no ban occurred.

By default that module only shows warning to admins. You have to enable the ban feature in smac.cfg
I would be carefull with that in l4d as sometimes miniguns may trigger it.

Yeah I know but the guy above was using pistols and he was firing them so fast everyone stopped to see what the heck he was doing.

I checked the cfg and banning is enabled.

Can you verify that the config is being loaded by checking the value of smac_autotrigger_ban on your live server?

Just done that and it returned this:

Code:
12:13:10 smac_autotrigger_ban
12:13:11 "smac_autotrigger_ban" = "1" ( def. "0" ) min. 0.000000 max. 1.000000
          ss_added
          - [smac_autotrigger.smx] Automatically ban players on auto-trigger detections.
