I've tried the latest MM:S snapshot and the latest SM snapshots (1.3 and 1.4), I still found that the server crashed moments after players joined.

For now I've deleted potential crashing extensions, which seems to have fixed it. If I can provide crash logs at some point I will, I attempt to try patching one more time before I go ahead with this however.

One common cause of crashes on Windows servers right now is D-Fens since updated builds of it haven't been posted yet (the old linux build doesn't load at all, but the windows one does without errors, but will cause crashes).

We are running SM 1.3.2-hg2950 and MM:S 1.8.1-hg701 with SDKHooks 1.3. We have no problems with players joining, but we cannot get any plug-ins to work. I am new to server management, is there any thing I can keep trying or is this when we all sit and wait?

Edit: After re-reading the original post I will be waiting for tomorrow. Hope all goes smooth, good luck SM Devs.

Yeah, I can get my server to start if I remove the SDKTools and Sm.tf2 extensions, but it's still not letting sourcemod work for the admins.....if I leave the extensions in place, the server never full boots up, just spams the logs that it's loading the map......

Good luck devs, will patiently wait for you all to work your magic where valve decided to bend us all over their metaphoric knee for no reason.....

I don't have D-Fens installed, but now that you mention it I do have a private extension installed that was probably causing the crashes (I deleted it with the common ones), I'll try uploading the extensions I deleted later and see if this resolves it.

Thanks!

Server was running great. All plugins seemed to work after putting in the latest snapshots, then came the engie glitchers which crashed the server.

Long story short, even after completely removing sourcemod and metamod, server still wont start. Currently doing a fresh install. gg's Valve.

Well, my Windows box crashed after 2 minutes on the old snapshot, this new one seems to have made it a lot more stable. After 15 minutes though the server hung for 30 seconds and resumed on the same map, so not sure exactly what's causing it.

Good job on the update, guys.
Much appreciated.

Could someone double check the Rename command on Linux? It works fine for me on Windows but on Linux it just gives "name" on both TF2 and DoDS

I don't want to file a bug report unless others have the same issue!
